O Batalhão de Operações Aéreas do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar
de Santa Catarina (BOA/CBMSC), em parceria com o Samu Aeromédico (SES / SAMU),
realizou nesta segunda-feira, 15, o primeiro transporte aeromédico com a nova
aeronave de asa fixa Arcanjo-04, a qual está baseada em Joaçaba.
O pequeno paciente de apenas oito meses de idade apresentava
queimaduras em aproximadamente 30% do corpo e precisou ser transportado do
Hospital Regional São Paulo, de Xanxerê, para o Hospital Infantil Joana de
Gusmão, em Florianópolis, para tratamento. O paciente e sua mãe foram
embarcados no avião no Aeroporto Municipal João Winckler (SSXX) em Xanxerê,
sendo conduzidos por via aérea até o Floripa Airport (SBFL), em Florianópolis.
O transporte aéreo representa importante meio de auxílio nos
transportes inter-hospitalares/ aeromédicos. Por meio dele é viável percorrer
grandes distâncias em um espaço de tempo muito menor, em comparação com outros
meios. O voo levou cerca de 2 horas, sendo percorridos 475 quilômetros (257
Milhas Náuticas) pelo ar. Caso fosse feito via terrestre, o transporte levaria
cerca de 8 horas para ser realizado.
Serviço Aeromédico Simultâneo no Estado
Hoje, com as duas novas aeronaves de asas fixa locadas
recentemente pelo Governo do Estado, a aeronave Arcanjo-06 a qual está baseada
em Florianópolis, também atendeu sua primeira ocorrência, simultaneamente à
primeira ocorrência do Arcanjo-04, o qual tem base em Joaçaba.
Tratava-se de uma criança de 06 anos de idade, a qual
apresentava quadro infeccioso em região de faringe. Ela foi transferida do
Hospital Regional São Paulo, de Xanxerê, para o Hospital Infantil Jeser
Amarante Faria, em Joinville, para tratamento.
Tal atuação somente foi possível em virtude da ampliação da
atividade aérea do estado com as duas novas aeronaves de asa fixa operadas pelo
Corpo de Bombeiros Militar de Santa Catarina em parceria com o SAMU Aeromédico
